Will someone call me when the spa ships?
We use independent truck lines. When a pick-up is made at the factory, the truck line will contact the customer within 48-72 hours to let them know they have the spa, to give an approximate date as to arrival at the delivery city hub. Once the spa arrives at the delivery hub, the customer will receive another phone call to schedule an appointment for the delivery of the spa.
Will the truck driver deliver to the backyard?
All our spas are CURBSIDE delivery (to the curb or paved driveway). The delivery carrier is responsible for unloading the spa and bringing it to your driveway only. It then becomes the consumer’s responsibility to get the spa to the backyard.
How is the Spa packaged?
Your spa will be palletized on its side.
Do you have to set the spa on concrete?
The spa should be placed on a level load-bearing surface. This would include a concrete slab, patio, reinforced deck or platform. It needs to be a surface that can bear the weight of the spa filled with water. Place the spa on an elevated foundation so that water drains away from it. Proper drainage will keep components protected from rain and wet weather.
How much water do they hold?
Depending on your model... most hold between 275 to 375 gallons. Go back to see product details.
What are the electrical requirements?
The spa owner is responsible for the cost of electrical wiring. A hard-wired spa will allow the pump to run on HIGH SPEED along with the heater. This reduces heat loss when using the spa and reduces energy costs to heat back up to temperature. The larger spas are 220 volts 50 amp and wiring must be done by a certified electrician. The energy savings and performance of the unit are much better than a standard 110V hook up, and the money spent on the electrician will come back to you quickly because of reduced energy costs.
What about pre-wiring?
We discourage the owner from pre-wiring as all spas are NOT wired the same. Wiring diagrams are included in the owner’s manual. We encourage customers to wait for the delivery and placement of their spa before having any electrical work done.
What do I do after I fill the spa with water?
Simply fill it with water. Apply the chemical base per the instruction manual. Turn the heat on HIGH. Turn the pump switch on. Put the cover in place. It usually takes 12-20 hours for the initial heating up depending upon the model purchased. All spas have automatic heat, automatic filtration, and an automatic time out after 20 minutes of use so you don’t have to worry about leaving the jets on all night. All that is needed is to check the chemicals and balance them every week or so. Most people drain the spa one or two times per year and replace the water. Rinse out the filter cartridge once a week with a garden hose.
How much does it cost to operate a spa?
All spas naturally add to electrical consumption. Costs will be higher in colder climates and less in warmer climates. Cost also varies based upon usage. There are several unsubstantiated studies and estimates on actual cost. What we do know is that someone who purchases a spa can expect an increase in cost and will vary by circumstance.

What is the benefit of an ozonator?
Like Bromine or Chlorine, an ozonator produces and injects pure ozone into the water to naturally shock the water and destroy bacteria. It naturally keeps the water clean and is designed to reduce chemical consumption by up to 75%.
What type of insulation is used?
Built to withstand the harshest environments. Our insulation system incorporates high density foam applied directly to the shell and a Tempshield ™ insulation blanket applied to the inside of the cabinet. The first layer keeps the heat trapped inside of the tub, while the reflective blanket allows for the heat generated by the pumps to be efficiently used to heat the water inside the plumbing, resulting in a lower cost of ownership. This method also avoids filling the cabinet with foam, which can make even the smallest repair an expensive and time-consuming ordeal.
How much time should I allocate to maintain my spa?Realistically, you should only have to allocate an average of 15 minutes per week in order to clean your filters and maintain your water chemistry. In addition, you will have to drain and refill your hot tub once every 3 to 4 months, which on average takes about one hour. Consider an ozonator to cut back on your chemical usage.

What to Know Before Installation
Location is one of the most important things to consider when purchasing a hot tub for the first time. There are several things to consider when determining where to place your new spa:
- Safety First
Do not place your spa within 10 feet (3 meters) of overhead powerlines.
Make sure it is positioned so that access you the equipment compartment on the side of the spa and all other side panels will not be blocked.
Be certain that you installation meets all city and local safety codes and requirements.
- How Will You Use Your Spa?
How you intend to use your new spa will help in determining where it should be positioned. Will it be used for recreation or therapeutic purposes?
If it will be used primarily for recreation, you might want to leave plenty of room around the tub for activity and lawn furniture.
If it will be used primarily for therapy and relaxation, you might want to consider what type of mood to create around the tub.
- Environment
Keeping the weather in mind is also important when choosing the location of a new tub. If you live in a climate with a snowy winter and hot summer, having a place to change clothes or a house entry nearby would be convenient.
A warm climate may require shade from the hot sun. Consider placement of trees, shrubs, or perhaps a patio cover to provide what you’ll need. Indoor installations require ventilation. When the spa is in use, there are considerable amounts of moisture produced. This can damage walls and ceiling surfaces over time, although special paint is available to resist moisture damage.
Also, remember that spas periodically require drainage, so plan your placement accordingly. You must contact a licensed building contractor if you’re considering indoor installation.
- Consider Your Privacy
Think of your spa’s surroundings during all seasons to determine your best privacy options. In cold-weather climates, bare trees will not provide much privacy in the winter. Also, consider the view of your neighbors as well when you plan the location of your spa.
- Provide a View with Your Spa
Think about the direction you will be facing when sitting in your spa. Perhaps you have a special landscaped area in your yard that you find enjoyable; or an area that catches a soothing breeze during the day or a lovely sunset in the evening. Consider these things when planning the location of your tub.
- Keep Your Spa Clean
Help to prevent dirt and foliage from being tracked into your spa by utilizing concrete for paths and access areas. Check the location of trees and spill paths from gutters to see if the wind or rain will sweep debris into your spa.
- Allow for Service Access
Many people choose to install or tile custom wood around their spas. If you’re installing your spa with custom decorative trimming, remember to allow for service access in case service is needed. Should you need service, a technician may need to remove the spa’s side panels, or access it from beneath. It’s always best to design special installations so that the spa can still be moved or lifted from the ground.
Hot Tubs are large and awkward, and can weigh as much as 700 lbs unfilled. Make sure you know the measurements of the tub you ordered, which are listed on the item pages.
The normal lead time is 3-6 weeks from the time the order is placed to time of delivery. The lead time may increase based on product availability, however you will be notified of extensions. The shipping company will call you a few days prior to delivery to schedule your delivery appointment. The company is responsible for unloading the spa and bringing it to your curbside/driveway only. You are going to need assistance getting the tub from your curbside/driveway to your backyard or patio. Perhaps you could rent a large furniture dolly and wheel the hot tub to its final destination or location.
NOTE: Accessories purchased with your hot tub will be located in the tub behind the cover within the foot well.
NOTE: Your owner’s manual, filter cartridge and filter basket are located behind the access panel of your cabinet of the spa.
NOTE: Please inspect your spa in the unlikely event that damage occurred during shipment.
Please note all damage on freight bill before the driver leaves.

“Ozone Ready” means fewer chemicals. If your new hot tub us “ozone ready,” you can install an ozone generator to sanitize the water. This way, you won’t have to constantly use chemicals like chlorine. Ozone water purification is up to 3,000 times more powerful than ordinary water sanitizes and doesn’t have that “chemical smell” normally found in pools and hot tubs.
